For South African parents

Revision doesn't have to feel like a fight anymore.

Your child is already spending time on screens. Vinky turns some of that time into small daily revision they actually want to do — while giving you calm, clear insight into where they need support.

Why we built Vinky

It's Sunday night. There are eight tabs open. The printer's out of ink. You've watched the same revision video three times trying to work out if it's even the right one. And tomorrow there's a test.

You're not alone. Revision should be easier.

What Vinky does

Three things parents have been doing alone until now.

Daily revision. Real motivation. Real insight. One app — built for South African families.

01
01 — Daily practice

Exam week shouldn't feel like starting from zero.

Searching online for revision turns up papers mixed across terms, off-topic questions, even the wrong grade. Vinky gives your child small, manageable daily practice for what they're learning now. CAPS-aligned, on the syllabus, no chasing. So when you do print a past paper at exam time, it's familiar, not overwhelming.

02 — Real motivation

The end of nagging them to revise.

Kids are on their phones anyway. Vinky turns some of that screen time into revision they actually want to do. Because at the end of each treasure hunt is a real-world prize you've personally chosen for them. Not generic points. Something they genuinely want, that only mom or dad knows. The reward gives them something to work toward. You stop being the bad guy.

03 — Real insight

Finally see what's actually getting in the way.

Most schools tell you the score. Vinky tells you the story. Is it the vocabulary? The underlying concept? Or applying what they know? Three diagnostic layers, in plain parent language, on one simple dashboard. You stop guessing. You start helping.

A note from the team behind Vinky

This was built by a South African mom who got tired of Sunday nights feeling like a battle.

I come from a family of teachers. I'm also a parent who works full-time, who has watched my kids' confidence dip when homework gets hard, and who has spent way too many Sundays printing worksheets that ended up in the recycling bin.

Vinky is the tool I wish I'd had. It's not about pushing kids harder. It's about making revision something they can actually do. And giving you the dashboard insights you need to support them and know where to focus.

We're launching mid-2026 and we want you with us from day one.
