Welcome to the ten-minute revision habit.
Not a colour-coded timetable. Not another hour of homework. Just a few minutes, a few times a week, with Vinky doing the heavy lifting.
Here's what that could actually look like.
Same topic. Different day. Sneaky repetition.
There's a History test coming up next week.
You could wait until Sunday evening, discover there are 65 pages to revise, and begin the traditional family panic.
Or we could try something different.
On Sunday, open the Vinky Parent App, choose the topic and schedule a few short revision adventures across the week.
- Monday? Ten minutes of History.
- Tuesday? Same topic. Different questions.
- Wednesday? Another little adventure, with explanations for the things that didn't quite stick.
By Thursday, you can have a peek at the revision results and see what might need another look.
Same topic. Several opportunities to learn. No Sunday-night marathon required.
And that's the beauty of sneaky repetition.
Every day, a little. By exam week, a lot.

History today. Geography tomorrow. Nobody panic.
There isn't a test in sight.
Which is lovely.
Until three tests arrive in the same week and everyone suddenly remembers that school has been happening all term.
So why not keep a few subjects ticking over?
Open the Vinky Parent App and make a little plan.
- MONDAY: History gets ten minutes.
- TUESDAY: Geography has a turn.
- WEDNESDAY: A little Natural Sciences & Technology.
- THURSDAY: A smidge of Life Skills. (Does anyone revise this subject? Please let me know! 😂)
- FRIDAY: Geography and History. Five minutes each to end off the week.
Different subjects, different days, and a bit of sneaky repetition thrown in.
Your child gets short revision adventures throughout the week, while you can keep an eye on their results.
Four subjects. Six little bursts of revision. A whole lot better than starting from scratch at exam time.
Because revision isn't only for the week before a test.

Home at six. Supper. Shower. Bed. Repeat.
And you want them to revise WHEN?!
Between multiple extracurricular activities, getting everyone home, making supper (and let's not forget those school concert nights), you're lucky if you can remember what day of the week it is!
Never mind squeezing in another ten minutes of revision.
So don't.
Who said revision has to happen every day?
Choose a quieter day, schedule a longer revision session and cover the topics you want your child to practise.
One day with a bit more breathing room. Several topics ticked off.
Because Vinky should fit around your family's schedule.
Not the other way around.
And now, if you'll excuse us, someone has lost a school shoe. Again. 👟

Three subjects. One day. Apparently, we're doing this.
You know that child who finishes their homework and asks what else they can do?
Neither do we! 😂
But if you're blessed with such a treasure of a child, and this sounds familiar...
History? Done. Geography? Easy. Natural Sciences? Bring it on!
Vinky has you covered.
Choose the subjects, schedule their revision adventures and let them work through multiple subjects for as many hours as they like.
Vinky has over 20,000 questions at the time of publishing this.
One day. Three subjects. Plenty of opportunities to learn.
Just remember to feed the child occasionally. 🍎

The test is tomorrow. You found out at 7:43 pm.
Apparently, they've known about it for two weeks.
Apparently, they told you.
Apparently, they know everything already.
Wonderful.
And now you have one evening to find out whether any of that is true.
Fortunately, Vinky doesn't insist on a beautifully organised weekly routine.
Open the Parent App, choose the subject and topics, and decide how you want to tackle the emergency.
One evening. A little less searching. A lot more actual revision.
We can't promise they'll know everything by tomorrow.
But at least you won't spend the entire evening Googling worksheets.

Sometimes they just need you beside them.
You sit down to help with History.
They don't understand the question.
You explain it.
They still don't understand.
You explain it differently.
Somehow, you're both getting cross, and nobody remembers why the Dutch settled at the Cape.
Sound familiar?
This is where Revise With My Child comes in.
Open the Vinky Parent App, choose a topic and work through the material together.
Start with the topic summary, tackle the questions and use Vinky's explanations when something needs a little more attention.
You can stop and continue later, too.
No preparing questions. No searching for explanations. No pretending you remember everything from Grade 6.
Just you, your child and a little help from Vinky.
Because sometimes revision works better when you do it together.

You say you know it all? Interesting.
Your child has finished revising.
They've closed the textbook.
They're very confident.
"I know everything, Mom."
Excellent!
Let's investigate that.
Open the Vinky Parent App, choose the subject and topics, and Print a Test.
Your child can work through the questions, just like a school test.
When they're finished, use the memo to check the answers and the explanations to discuss anything that went wrong.
No writing your own questions. No hunting for a memo. No discovering halfway through that the worksheet answers are missing.
And if the results reveal a topic that needs another look?
Well, now you know exactly what to revise next.
A little practice test today beats a big surprise tomorrow.
